Ms. Nadia Batool is a Senior Key Expert on SUBAI. She is currently based in Punjab to lead the technical delivery of the project interventions in that province.
She is a capacity building and development professional with over eighteen years of diversified experience in Parliamentary Strengthening, Disaster Risk Reduction, HIV/AIDS, Gender, Water and Sanitation and has worked with internationally renowned NGOs, multi-lateral organizations and donor programs.
Nadia holds two masters’ degrees in Political Science from University of Punjab and in Social Work from Australian Catholic University (ACU) in Sydney Australia. She was born and raised in the sparsely populated province of Balochistan, and her professional journey started at very young age working with the rural communities in remote areas of the province.
During her professional career she has attended numerous international training workshops, conferences and has worked in Australia, Afghanistan, Iran, Holland, Uganda, India, Sir Lanka, Thailand, and Egypt. She believes that these international exposures have greatly improved her personal and professional skills and broadened her vision about development.
Prior to SUBAI Ms. Nadia worked with the Improving Parliamentary Performance in Pakistan (IP3) programme funded by EU as the Senior Expert for Research and Capacity Building. Before that she also worked as a Training Specialist for the USAID funded project “Pakistan Legislative Strengthening Project” (PLSP) to support national and provincial level legislatures in Pakistan.
