Introduction to the 2nd Cohort of Young Parliamentary Associates 2018-2019
has completed her Masters in Business Administration from Karakorum International University, Gilgit. She has a brief working experience as Young Development Fellow at Hashoo Foundation, Pakistan. She has been working as a Young Parliamentary Associate (YPA) within Public Accounts Committee Gilgit Baltistan Assembly Secretariat to provide research support. In addition, she is also assisting members to draft resolutions, questions and motions
has completed his graduate studies in Environmental Science from International Islamic University and is currently pursuing his MS degree from the same University. He has been working as Young Parliamentary Associate (YPA) in the Legislative Assembly of Gilgit-Baltistan since November 2018. He is deployed with the Reporters wings of the Assembly to provide research assistance to the Staff and Members on various issues as required. Apart from this, he is also providing his assistance to Sustainable development goals task force.
|Syed Basharat Hussain
has done his Matriculation and Intermediate from Public School and Colleges Jutial Gilgit. With a strong intellectual urge to study and understand the science of politics, he switched his areas of studies and completed his Baccalaureate in Political Science and did his masters in International Relations from National Defence University Islamabad.
His professional experience after graduation has been of working as a Research Fellow at National Council of Social Welfare, CAAD Islamabad for two years. Thereafter, He joined Provincial Assembly of Gilgit-Baltistan as Parliamentary Associate on July 2017. He has been working with the Research & Publication Wing/ Press Release since his induction, to facilitate Honourable Parliamentarians through research-oriented inputs in order to strengthen parliamentary mechanism in GB Assembly.
has done his Bachelor’s in Political Science from GC University Lahore. He has been serving as a Young Parliamentary Associate from the last two years at Gilgit Baltistan Assembly; where he is attached with the Legislation and Committees section. In past, he has represented Pakistan at various national and international platforms. He has represented Pakistan in the United States of America as a Cultural Ambassador in the year 2014. He has also represented Pakistan in Denmark as a Young Parliamentarian in a study tour organized by the Danish Embassy in Pakistan and PILDAT (Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency) in the year 2015.
