Ms. Aiza Ashraf is a Research Monitoring and Evaluation (RME) Advisor with SUBAI Pakistan. She joined the Technical Assistance Team of SUBAI Pakistan in October 2017. Aiza has played an instrumental role in developing a robust Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) framework for the project and she ensures effective implementation of the M&E framework. She actively engages in the processes of compiling, drafting and consolidating project reports and undertakes active research related the project.
Aiza holds over 5 years of experience in M&E, research and analysis. Prior to joining SUBAI, she worked as a Research Consultant with a non-profit organization based in Massachusetts, USA. She has authored research reports on diverse topics such as International Labour Organization (ILO) labor laws and their implementation status in Pakistan; Human rights violations in Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America and Human Trafficking in South East Asia. Previously, Aiza has worked with the National Democratic Institute (NDI) where she served as the M&E Officer, working on programs focusing on political party development, election observation and reforms and increasing the participation of women and youth in the political process.
In terms of her academic qualification, she is a graduate of School of Public Policy with Master’s in Public Policy and Administration at University of Massachusetts-Amherst, USA.
